CENW is a grassroots community project built around a simple idea: stronger neighborhoods begin with neighbors working together.
Our mission is to bring people and communities together, encourage involvement, support the establishment of independent Neighborhood Watches, and create better ways for neighbors to communicate, share information, build relationships, and look out for one another.
Our efforts focus on four connected areas: Safety, Mobility, Education, and Transparency.
Neighborhood safety begins with awareness, communication, and neighbors looking out for one another.
CENW encourages independent Neighborhood Watches, helping residents build relationships, share safety information, and stay informed about everyday concerns affecting their communities.
Mobility is about how people move around and experience their neighborhoods, including walking, driving, accessibility, and pedestrian awareness.
CENW encourages conversations that help neighbors better understand their surroundings, share experiences, and stay informed about mobility and safety concerns.
Information helps people become more aware, involved, and connected.
CENW provides opportunities to share Neighborhood Watch information, educational resources, community news, and experiences that neighborhoods can learn from.
What one neighborhood learns may help another get started.
Trust grows through openness, communication, and shared understanding.
CENW is committed to keeping communities informed about our activities, platform development, and opportunities for participation while respecting the independence of every neighborhood.
Neighborhood Square is a central part of CENW, bringing neighbors and communities together through discussion boards, community conversations, video meetings, event postings, and Neighborhood Watch connections.
It's a welcoming online gathering place where people can share information, exchange ideas, organize activities, and build relationships while keeping their neighborhoods independently organized and locally focused.
Every neighborhood is different, but communication, relationships, and community involvement are important everywhere.
CENW is working to build a connected network of neighborhoods and independent Neighborhood Watches where people can share experiences, learn from one another, and encourage greater participation.
Our goal is simple: bring neighbors together, open communication, and help communities become stronger, safer, and more connected.
It starts with neighbors. It starts with communication. Together, we build stronger communities.
